FABRIC
PER METER
We offer traditional, handcrafted Indian fabrics by the meter.
Your unique handmade piece deserves a fabric just as special.
Discover our wide range of block-printed fabrics, natural dabu prints, handwoven kala cotton,
vintage kantha, embroidery and more! We’re currently working on listing more fabrics online, in the meantime, you can find the full collection at our Pop-Up Store at Oudegracht 310 in Utrecht.

NATURAL
DABU PPRINTED
Dabu print is a traditional block printing technique using a mud-resist method. Artisans stamp mud onto the fabric with hand-carved wooden blocks, then dye it using natural dyes from plants like pomegranate peel and turmeric. The mud resists the dye, leaving the stamped pattern untouched.

HANDWOVEN
KALA COTTON
Kala cotton is an ancient cotton variety from the dry landscapes of Gujarat. It grows naturally without the need for irrigation or chemicals, making it a sustainable choice. After harvesting, the cotton is carefully handwoven on traditional looms, creating fabrics with a beautiful, natural texture.
Each piece carrying the quiet story of the land and the skilled hands that made it.
From handwoven Kala cotton to block prints, kantha, embroidery and more!
You'll find a much bigger selection of unique fabrics at our Pop-Up Store in Utrecht.
You can also visit us (almost) every Saturday morning at the Lapjesmarkt in Utrecht.
The two locations are just a short 15-minute walk apart through the historic heart of the city,
perfect for a lovely day out if you feel like visiting both!

HANDCRAFTED
FABRICS
All our fabrics are traditionally and artisanally made by local craftsmen in India. Every year, we visit the villages ourselves to meet the makers and carefully select the fabrics, so we know exactly where and how each piece was made.
You can learn more about the ethical craftsmanship behind our fabrics here and on our Instagram page, where we regularly share videos and photos that tell the story behind the textiles.

CRAFTED BY YOU!
We absolutely love seeing what you have been creating with the fabrics!
